Chicago, Fall 2021

I went to Chicago for work, and took a lot of abstract building shots. You can definitely see the Angie McMonigal inspiration in some of these.

There’s also a couple of people in there.

It had been a while since I’d been this deep in the Loop.

The offsite was in a building on Wacker with a very cool lobby.

Lobbies are usually not this photogenic.

Then we went on the architecture tour on the river. This was probably my third or fourth time taking this boat ride, but my first time with the zoom lens. Fun photo challenges ensued. I decided not to post photos of my teammates, though. Gotta protect the innocent.

People tend to spot the big camera, even from far away.

Being on the river affords some really odd angles.

Yes, this is a façade.

Sunset at Wrigley.

The light hits the building just right as you walk out of the office in Chicago this time of the year.

Belmont L stop.
