Winter in Yosemite

Since moving to California, I’ve been to Yosemite almost once per year. This time, however was the first time I’ve visited in the winter.

There was a lot of fog at Tunnel View.

Luckily for us, our friend Alex figured out the chains situation.

No more speed limit.

When we made it to Dewey Point we barely could see a few feet past the ledge. Needless to say, there was no view.

Nick and Alex.

Hannah.

No Hannah.

Snow waves.

On the way back, we stopped at Tunnel View again. I channeled my inner Ansel Adams pretty well.

The next morning, we hiked to Mirror Lake.

The name makes a lot of sense once you see it.

Admiring Yosemite Falls.

Layers.

And one last view of the tunnel.
